Oasis is defined as, "a place or period that gives from a troubling or chaotic situation."

Oasis Respite Ministry at First Baptist Loeb provides a structured time of service and fellowship for older adults who are socially isolated due to cognitive or physical frailties. 

The sustained respite program affords family caregivers three hours of free time while giving their loved one an opportunity to participate in stimulating and productive activities in a loving environment.

Oasis Respite Ministry allows volunteers to share their talents and gifts while participating in all program activities.  Volunteers find the time both stimulating and rewarding.
